Hello there. My name is Jason Wessendorf. If you’re looking for planted tank information, from setting up a fresh water planted ( with live plants!) aquarium, all the way to what to do with all those plant trimmings from those plants that just won’t quit growing, I think you’ll find this site at least mildly useful.

I’m not here so I can preach to you all, or to tell you you’re stupid if you don’t do things like I do them. There are many ways in which to enjoy a successful planted aquarium and just as many methods in getting there. I will share with you what I do, what I’ve learned, go over some jargon, point you to good information found elsewhere, and so forth, and hope that you pick something up you can use.
Most of all, though , the planted tank hobby is about sharing, and this is my attempt to do so.
